Current Division Example Problem #2: (Parallel Resistors)
This tutorial runs through another current division example problem with four branches. The steps are as follows: calculate the equivalent resistance for three parallel resistors, calculate the total current flowing out of the voltage source, derive the current divider formula from ohm's law, then calculate the current flowing through each resistor individually.
