About Engineer4Free

Hi, my name is Braden. Engineer4Free is personal project of mine where I help engineering students better understand and appreciate their courses. Engineering programs are intense, and it's easy to get overwhelmed by the shear amount of information that is thrown at you in a very short period of time.

When I was getting my engineering degree, I often turned to the internet for help when I didn't understand things. At the time, the online resources were few and far between and I wished there was a single giant repository of everything I needed to know that was clear, concise, and free. I wasn't able to find such a thing, so I took it upon myself to be the one to make it. I break down university courses into dozens of 5-10 minute videos that go over explanations and examples. It turns out that being able to casually watch and re-watch these videos on your own time is a really effective way to learn complicated stuff. So far I've made over 500 tutorials that cover a range of material from several courses. With over 30,000,000 lessons delivered around the world, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and I plan to keep developing new courses.

While I do have a bachelor's degree in engineering, I am not yet a licensed Professional Engineer. My tutorials should not be regarded as professional engineering advice or services.
